A United Endeavor of Youth Fellowships of Malayalee Pentecostal Churches.
Our History begins 42 years ago, Pentecostal Youth Fellowship of America (PYFA), a non-profit Christian organization has sought to encourage and empower youths for the ministry and leadership roles of tomorrow. Founded in 1981 by a handful of youth leaders who had a vision to create an organization to bring the youth of our Indian community together, it has grown into a ministry that now serves over 40 churches in the greater New York region. PYFA serves more than 2,500 youth and adults in their spiritual journey to reach their God given potential through retreats, missions, talent development, conferences, and athletics. In addition, it provides a venue for fellowship among believers. This organization has helped many young people develop into mighty men and women of God who are being used by the Lord in various capacities in His vineyard and have dedicated their lives to His service. With the guidance of God and the direction of his laborers, PYFA continues to inspire and challenge youths for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. PYFA is built on the foundation of the leadership of past officials.
Our Vision is to receive an outpouring of the anointing that will fuel a burning passion to transcend all boundaries and advance the Kingdom of Heaven. Our prayer is to be still and stand firm on His Word and witness the powerful movement of the Lord’s hand as he utilizes this organization to impact this great City and beyond.
Our Mission is to ensure the spiritual, social and leadership development for a generation that is to become Ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, that are challenged daily to be not of this radically changing world; nevertheless, to radically change it.
Our Theme this year is 1 John 1:3 "that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ."
