“Another Year – Another Retreat” - Ever find yourself saying this phrase?? It’s probably because we’ve become so used to coming to retreats, spending 3 days of singing songs, praising God, being “set free”, making new friends, having tons of photos to post on Facebook ...... only to find yourself back to square one. This is the spiritual high syndrome. You have 1 or 2 amazing moments, but then you fall back to reality without knowing how to sustain it.

This year the focus of the PYFA Retreat is not for you to have one great weekend, but learning how to live your life after the retreat. We’re going back to the basics and gaining the elements needs to maintain your Christian walk. We’re going back to the JESUS ELEMENT!
So come on and join us for the 2009 PYFA Youth Retreat. Get away from the distractions of life and spend a weekend with 200 youth, worshiping the Lord, hearing from the word, and learning on how to strengthen your relationship with Christ. It’s time to disconnect from the world, and reconnect with God.
This year we’ll be heading to the beautiful Lake Champion Retreat Center - a premier 370-acre facility located in the foothills of the southern New York Catskill Mountains. Details about the retreat, speakers, fees, and a FAQ section are listed below.

Ok, so where is this taking place: Lake Champion Retreat Center in Glen Spey, NY. It’s only 1.5 hours away. It’s a new place this year, with AMAZING facilities and state of the art meeting rooms.
Ok, the place looks good – what’s the cost?$140
Hmm, what does that cover? Well this price covers transportation to and from the event, 6 Meals (Friday Lunch -Sunday Brunch) , room and board, retreat materials, and much more.
Ok, great – what can I expect? You can expect to be touched by the WORD of God, and to truly feel the move of God in your life, as the spirit will lead this weekend. Also, you can expect to enjoy in the fellowship of the PYFA community. So tell all your friends to sign up!
